QBO Tutorial: How to Setup Recurring Bills

Save Time with Recurring Bills

Rent is a recurring bill. Insurance is a recurring bill. Professional service fees and subscriptions are recurring bills. Why waste time entering these transactions manually every month? In this blog, we are going to help you set it and forget it.

How to Create Recurring Bills in QBO

  • Start on the Dashboard page

  • Head up to the Gear icon on the top right

  • Under Lists, click on Recurring Transactions

  • Click on the New button, on the drop down select Bill, and OK

  • Enter the information (Template name, type (Scheduled), days in advance)

  • Fill in the data that you want to include on a recurring basis such as vendor, interval, account or item details, description, amount, etc.

  • Select Save template
